"Ministry Teams" describe the functions of what are commonly called church committees.  Our focus is not on "committees" and "meetings", but on "ministry" and "team work".  The paragraphs below describe the purpose of a number of our ministry teams.  The list is intended to be neither all-inclusive nor permanent, but a description of our goals and functioning at this point in time.

"Ministry Team Leaders” are those persons who have gifts and interests in the ministries of a particular team.  They have the opportunity to use their gifts in organizing and encouraging their team to fulfill the mission of Riverside Church and to put our distinctives into practice.  Team Leaders will share with the consistory their ideas, dreams, plans and goals on a regular basis.
