3 And they received from Moses all the contribution that the people of Israel had brought for doing the work on the sanctuary. They still kept bringing him freewill offerings every morning, 4 so that all the craftsmen who were doing every sort of task on the sanctuary came, each from the task that he was doing, 5 and said to Moses, The people bring much more than enough for doing the work that the Lord has commanded us to do.

Why does Riverside need a Facilities Team?

As a small church, our greatest resource is our people.  Elders are charged with teaching and studying the Word and ensuring the overall spiritual health of the church.  Deacons are charged with administering the finances and taking care of people with physical needs both in the church.

The Facilities Team fits into the big picture by being Christ’s hands and feet in and around Riverside, ensuring that worship can be accomplished, by providing equipment and facilities that are in good condition.

What is the Facilities Team?

The Facilities Team is a group of men and women who want to minister by taking care of Riverside’s property.

Who serves on the Facilities Team?

Anyone who has a faithful desire to perform their spiritual gifts such as:  Faith, Leadership, Helps, and Giving.

When will the Facilities Team meet and perform its duties?

The fourth Monday of each month, at 6:30 pm, has been tentatively selected as a meeting time.

Ideally, the Facilities Team will meet monthly and perform its functions as needed.  The elder and deacon representatives are expected to meet with the team at least four times annually.

Where will the Facilities Team hold its meetings and perform its duties?

Wherever a convenient meeting place can be secured and wherever the need arises on Riverside property.
