It is part of Riverside's mission to provide meaningful and biblically based Christian education for all ages.
Opportunities for Children (Ages 3 - 6th grade)
Sunday Education Hour (11-noon) are offered from September through May for all children ages 3 to sixth grade using the Children Desiring God curriculum.
Praiser Bags, supplied with age appropriate activities, are provided for kids age 2-12 during worship. We love kids at Riverside and like including them in worship, but realize that sitting for an hour can be enjoyed more with Praiser Bag activities.
AWANA on Wednesday nights for kids 3 - 6th grade from 5:45 - 8:00pm beginning Wednesday, October 1, 2008. AWANA consists of Bible memory, stories, music, activities and games. This is a great place for kids to be introduced to faith in Christ or nurtured in their faith throughout the year.

We started out talking about friendship and how the Bible portrays friendship. We are now talking about Worldviews. Before the Thanksgiving break we looked at the Christian worldview. In the following weeks we'll take a look at other theistic worldviews(Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam)

After the Christmas break we will be looking at the Naturalistic worldview.
Opportunities for MICHI(Senior High)
Sunday School:

We have talked about Sin, helping the "least of these", abortion and a handfull of other topics. In each one we seek out God's plan, it has been very well received.

Future topics are on creation and evolution, sex and relationships, parents and their teens and music.

Sunday night we have been discussing current event topics. We are going to start a study on the book of Proverbs.
